Restylish: Where did your passion for music come from?
Lauviis: I found my voice at a young age, I grew up as a choir boy in my family church. My grandpa was a pastor. In Samoan culture, the kids all participated in Sunday School. I realized that music moved me, helped me through whatever I was going through or experiencing.
Restylish: What inspires you?
Lauviis: Honestly, Death. Leaving this Earth with no legacy is what pushes me. Living in Hawaii is expensive & my mom was a single mom so we didn’t have much. Seeing her struggle inspired me to use my gifts to create a lifestyle that would leave a legacy for my family.
Restylish: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Lauviis: Owning a corporation. Off the island. Not exactly sure where but big things are coming!
Restylish: 3 words to describe yourself?
Lauviis: Determined. Focused. Mogul.
Restylish: What’s the first thing you do in morning?
Lauviis: Wake & Bake always! I put on some oldies or sometimes classical. Meditate. I give thanks for all my blessings & being alive. I plan out & prioritize my day.
Restylish: Is there an artist you want to work with that you have not yet had the opportunity to work with?
Lauviis: Mac Miller, RIP.
Restylish: If you were stranded on an island what are the three things that’d you’d take with you?
Lauviis: Weed. Reese’s. My family.
Restylish: Which people or books have had the most influence on your growth and why?
Lauviis: I don’t really have one. Growing up I did t really have anyone to look up to so I think it would just be me. I just want to be better than I was yesterday.
Restylish: What’s your favorite song in your catalog?
Lauviis: Daydreamin
